Designing for sustainable shoe-making requires great partners like Mellow Walk Safety, a proudly Canadian shoe manufacturer in Toronto, who generously donated cupsoles for our sneaking making workshops. Led by an expert shoe makers at DESIGNwith, participants learn how to create a customized pair of sneakers while also being guided on the importance of social and environmental sustainability. Participants also have the chance to personalize their sneaker prototype through material choice and decorative methods. DESIGNwith creates space for opportunities to connect with community and creativity through hands-on learning for a positive impact on society and the environment.
