When we support women,

we support the community.

Over a century ago, four immigrant women in Toronto envisioned a hospital that would truly serve their community. Today, that spirit of inclusivity, innovation and compassion continues through Sinai Health Foundation’s collaboration with DESIGNwith, celebrating Mount Sinai Hospital’s centennial.

Award-winning marketing banners have been transformed into a sustainable product line, co-designed and crafted in Toronto by skilled immigrant women sewists from the Regent Park Sewing Studio. Each piece embodies our commitment to social and environmental good.

Care-centered Design

Circular Economy

We minimizes environmental impact through zero-waste design and material reuse. By fostering environmental stewardship and contributing to a circular economy, we treat post-consumer products as valuable resources and view design as an interconnected ecosystem.

Social Innovation

At the lab we connect students, community members, and designers through collaborative design sessions that address real-world challenges. By integrating diverse perspectives, these co-design sessions cultivate inclusive and sustainable opportunities that advance social innovation, create employment, and promote systemic change.
