Spring Workshop Series: Mending
As we finalize our spring programming, we are excited to introduce a garment mending series taught by the women of the Regent Park Sewing Studio. From fixing knits to patching moth holes, we invite you to join us in our lab to mend with care and prolong the life of your garments.
If you're interested in participating, please let us know which days and times of the week work best for you. We'll stay in touch and keep you updated on workshop scheduling. Looking forward to connecting!
Design as a tool
for positive change
We actively share our research and design explorations with the community through dynamic workshops and exhibitions. By incorporating design into hands-on activities and activations, we introduce the concept of the circular economy in a way that is accessible and easily understandable for everyone in our community – from individuals to businesses and organizations.
Workshops
From theory to fabrication the lab aims to empower communities by fostering creative confidence and ideas by learning through hands-on making. The creative collective facilitates a variety workshops to teach our community about circular ways of creating by addressing our current linear economy with alternative sustainable methods of making.
Exhibitions
Accessible to all, our exhibitions serve as a continuation of our ongoing research and diverse collaborations with individuals, businesses, and organizations. These exhibitions are open to the public, providing a platform to showcase the insights and discoveries of the lab.
